The Fusion Cafe

Looking for a nice ambience and 'Non-Halal' place to chill out and relax?  Why not try out The Fusion Cafe?  It is just a stone's throw away from the MAS building at Jalan Song Thian Cheok.  You will not miss it as you drive along this road 'coz of the oh-so-familiar Mickey Mouse font used on its signboard.

The facade

"A lady with a poodle" - Very eye-catchin' wall decoration eh?

The cafe is air-conditioned and airy as the doors are always open.  It offers a myriad of Chinese food, but Western food is limited to Chicken/Lamb/Pork Chop, Fish & Chips and Mushroom Soup.  The drinks served will surely blow your mind;  their Fruit Punch is out of this world, to say the least.
Interesting Fruit Punch name
Yours truly ordered Love Potion No. 71, the Love Elixir, while a friend, Honey Dew Milk Tea.  Love Elixir is actually iced watermelon juice with some canned lychees.  Well, they were generous with the lychees, I must say.

Ladies and germs,  may I bring your attention to this particular snacks of theirs.  The Fried 3-layered Pork.

Fried 3-layered pork.  Recommended!
The fried 3-layered pork came with diagonally-cut cucumbers and sambal belacan for dipping.  Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, each pork slice seemed to entice a non-3-layered-pork lover like me to go for more.  The sambal belacan was simply oomph-ful. Wish it were more spicy though.

So, if you’re in the neighbourhood, why don’t you hop by? The Fusion Café is indeed a great place to catch up with friends and family alike.
